THE PRODUCTION

An intimate theatre. An expansive production.

Presented in the Fairfax Studio, Torch the Place was a visually rich and ambitious new work that made full use of the theatre's intimate setting. With an unusually substantial production scale for the venue, it brought together an exceptional creative team to realise a work that was both technically ambitious and deeply affecting.

As Production Manager, I worked alongside Melbourne Theatre Company's creative and production teams to bring the work to the stage. The production completed almost its entire planned season before closing a few days early amid the emergence of COVID-19 restrictions.
