Taking theatre beyond the stage: production management for two MTC audio productions connecting artists and audiences while theatres were closed.
THE WORK
With live performance suspended during Melbourne's COVID-19 lockdowns, Melbourne Theatre Company's Audio Lab offered an alternative way to create and present theatrical work.
I worked as Production Manager across two productions: The Turn of the Screw, directed by Sarah Goodes, and Great Australian Speeches, directed by Petra Kalive.
Both projects formed part of MTC's response to an extraordinary period for the performing arts, keeping artists working and audiences connected to theatre through a different medium.
