Two Australian exhibitions. Teams across three countries. International production leadership bringing Australian stories to the world stage.

THE UNDERTAKING
The 2023 Prague Quadrennial marked a significant moment for Australian performance design. Australia's presentation within the Exhibition of Countries and Regions (ECR) featured work by acclaimed First Nations designer Jacob Nash, curated by Jo Briscoe.
Alongside the ECR, a separate Australian Student Exhibition brought together emerging designers from the Victorian College of the Arts and Queensland University of Technology. Responding to Nash's creative provocation, the students developed an immersive installation exploring connections to Country, place and the Australian landscape.
As Head of Production across both exhibitions, I oversaw the considerable logistical and technical undertaking of bringing these distinct creative visions to Prague. This included coordinating fabrication across Melbourne and Dublin, international freight, production planning and the installation of both works. I also served as Production Manager for the Student Exhibition, working directly with the creative teams to realise the installation.
Delivering two exhibitions across multiple countries required extensive coordination, creative problem-solving and collaboration between artists, designers, fabricators and technical specialists.
Beyond the complexity of international production, this was an extraordinary opportunity to work alongside Jacob Nash and contribute to bringing Australian design and First Nations storytelling to an international audience.
